Their wedding weekend at le filigare felt like a small storybook unfolding across the Tuscan hills — warm, relaxed and beautifully intentional.

friday evening set the tone: guests arrived one by one, welcomed by the view over endless vineyards. as the sun lowered behind the hills, everyone gathered for a cosy pizza night cooked by Italian pizzaioli on the estate. long wooden tables, local wine, laughter carrying into the night — an easy, joyful start.

saturday began quietly. arno went for an early run with his friends through the countryside, the kind of calm moment that grounds a wedding day. anne-sophie headed to a local hairdresser in san donato, a small Tuscan village not far from the estate. simple, personal, and exactly right for the morning.

back at le filigare, both prepared separately, surrounded by close family and friends. when the ceremony began, their first look happened as anne-sophie walked in — an emotional moment framed by cypress trees and soft music. vows, stories, and the warm breeze across the vineyard made the ceremony feel intimate and effortless.

afterwards, we wandered through the wine fields for their couple shoot — rows of vines, soft light, and the kind of natural connection that suits documentary photography perfectly.

cocktails flowed into dinner outside, overlooking a 180° view of the Tuscan hills. shared dishes, speeches, golden-hour light, and the feeling that nobody wanted the evening to end. the dance floor opened under the stars, with music carrying across the valley and guests celebrating into the night.

sunday closed the weekend with a relaxed easter brunch. fresh pastries, long tables and a gentle atmosphere — plus a surprise for the children: an easter egg hunt hidden between the olive trees.
